After-school Nanny, North West London (NW11)

Job Summary

As an after school nanny, you’ll care for two children after school and nursery, helping them feel safe, settled and supported as they move through their afternoon routine. You’ll bring a warm, attentive, proactive, kind, playful, organised, and positive approach to childcare and communicate clearly with the children and their family.

Schedule/ Location:

- Monday to Thursday, 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM (16 hours per week)

- North West London (NW11)

Family Details:
- Two children: 5 and 3 years old

Responsibilities

  • Welcome children after school and provide attentive, age-appropriate care.

  • Occasional nursery pick-up

  • Support homework and learning through patient, engaging teaching, adapting your approach to each child.

  • Plan suitable activities, encourage positive routines and help children prepare for the next part of their day.

  • Cleaning, children's laundry, dishwasher loading/ unloading

Requirements

Required: Practical childcare and nannying capabilities, patience, clear communication in English, and the ability to support children’s routines and learning are essential. No long-term nanny experience is required for this role. We are looking for someone responsible, willing to learn, and passionate about working with children—this may be ideal for a student seeking extra income.

Salary: £16.00 per hour
