Part time Housekeeper - South Molton, Devon

Part time Housekeeper - 15- 20 hours per week

Location: South Molton, Devon

Pets/ animals: This is a farm - dogs, cats, chickens & donkeys

Car Driver needed: Yes, as will need to help with running local errands

House size: The main house has 5-bedrooms and 3-bathrooms. However, they only use one bedroom and one bathroom. The guest cottage has 3-bedrooms and 3-bathrooms, and will only be used for occasional guests (maybe one weekend per month) and as an Airbnb while they are away.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, preferably between the hours of 10:00- 14:00

Daily duties:

• Cleaning to a high standard

• Laundry and ironing

• Light meal preparation (chopping vegetables for dinner)

• Light household maintenance (e.g. changing light bulbs, setting moth traps)

• Care of delicates: having cashmere dry cleaned and properly stored during the off-season

• Carefully dusting and caring for fine art, including pots and paintings

• Helping to plan and host occasional dinner parties (e.g: laying the table)

• Polishing silverware

• Liaising with local tradespeople to mend curtains, reupholster furniture, etc,

• Maintaining the property while the principals are traveling, and managing the alarm system

• Running local errands (e.g: grocery shopping, posting packages, dropping off and picking up dry cleaning, or clothing alterations)

Salary range: £18.00- £20.00 gross per hour
