Domestic Couple (Housekeeper/ Gardener/ Driver) - BUCKINGHAMSHIRE
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Live-in Domestic Couple (Housekeeper and Gardener/ Driver) to join a large, high-end family home in Buckinghamshire. The family consists of 2 adults and 3 grown up children, all over 17 years old. The ideal candidates will be a couple who have worked together before in large households, and who have experience working as a domestic housekeeper, and gardener in private homes.
This is a Live-in role, and the accommodation provided is a Beautiful 2-Bedroom Cottage with bathroom.
Housekeeper Responsibilities:
Dusting and polishing surfaces, furniture, and fixtures
Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping all floor
Cleaning and sanitising kitchens and bathrooms
Washing interior windows
Disposing of waste and recycling
Making beds and changing linens
Laundry and organisation
Washing, drying, and folding clothes, towels, and linens
Ironing and pressing clothes
Organising closets, pantries, and other storage areas
Maintaining household inventory and restocking supplies like toilet paper and cleaning products
Running errands, such as grocery or supply shopping
Preparing simple meals or assisting with meal planning
Pet care
Basic gardening or house plant care
Dealing with contractors or taking care of minor repairs
Managing other household staff if applicable
Gardener/ Driver Responsibilities:
Maintain gardens by planting, pruning, weeding, and watering plants to ensure their health and vitality.
Design and implement landscaping projects that enhance the aesthetic appeal of the property.
Operate gardening equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers safely and efficiently.
Provide excellent communication skills.
Keep outdoor areas clean and tidy.
Monitor plant health and identify any pests or diseases, taking appropriate action as necessary.
Driving: Transporting clients to and from specified locations in a safe and timely manner.
Route planning: Determining the best routes while considering traffic, weather, and client preferences.
Vehicle maintenance: Keeping the interior and exterior of the vehicle exceptionally clean and ensuring it is in good working order.
Customer service: Greeting passengers, assisting with doors, loading/unloading luggage, and being a helpful and courteous presence.
Safety: Adhering to all road regulations and ensuring the safety of passengers at all times.
Experience
Previous housekeeping, gardening and driving experience in private households is essential.
Schedule: Full time, 5 days per week, 8am- 6pm.
