Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Housekeeper to join an informal, family household in South East London (Dulwich/ Camberwell). The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a family home, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment. Responsibilities:

• General cleaning (including care for antiques, marble, and wood floors), laundry for delicates and knitwear, and some shirt ironing.

• Cooking: Preparing 2- 3 meals per week that can be easily reheated.

• General Tasks: Answering the door for tradespeople and running occasional errands, such as food shopping or post office trips

• Hospitality: Preparing guest rooms for frequent visitors and occasional housesitting or dog sitting.

Skills:

• Previous experience in domestic housekeeping is essential.

• Good organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure thorough cleaning.

• Basic cooking knowledge is a bonus for assisting with light meal preparations if required by clients.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining efficiency.

• Reliable time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes.

• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties in a large family home, which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Further information:

• Hours and Flexibility: 35- 38 hours per week, spread over 4 days, allowing for a day off on either Wednesday or Thursday. Schedule most likely will be Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri, 9AM- 6PM.

• Pets: There is a pet dog, therefore you must be dog-friendly

• Children: Three teenagers, 14- 16 years old
