Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable part time, long-term Housekeeper, Nanny, Parent Support professional to provide exceptional care and manage the household for a private residence in Herne Hill.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a positive, "can-do" attitude and a professional demeanour. You should be able to use your own initiative to maintain a clean, organised home while ensuring the safety and well-being of a one-year-old baby. Previous experience with infants is desirable, as the role involves providing an extra pair of hands for the parents and occasional babysitting.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 20- 25 hours per week, flexible mornings or afternoons but must include one afternoon/evening.

Responsibilities:

  • Housekeeping, laundry, and ironing

  • Running errands and shopping

  • Cooking, meal preparation, and grocery planning

  • Childcare, including handling bath and bedtime during afternoon shifts

  • Dog walking

  • Occasional babysitting

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in childcare and housekeeping roles

  • Excellent communication skills in English

  • French language is desirable because the family speak both French and English

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently

  • Friendly yet professional approach

  • Ability to work flexibly within the agreed schedule; punctuality is essential

You will also provide childcare support, including local outings and bath/bedtime routines when working later shifts.

The family has a large but gentle 6-year-old Dog, so the ideal candidate must be comfortable with large dogs and happy to include dog walking as part of their routine.

Pay: £20- £25 per hout
