Live-in Housekeeper, GLOUCESTERSHIRE

We are currently assisting a family in South Gloucestershire in their search for a live-in housekeeper.

The household consists of a family of four, including two children aged 4 and 2. The property is situated in a beautiful but rural location.

House size: 3 reception, 8 bedrooms. 2nd floor accommodation. Staff annex. Extensive gardens & grounds. Mill pond & stream. About 35 acres.

Schedule:
Part time, 3–4 days per week, flexible for the right person.

Duties will include:
  - Daily cleaning of an 8-bedroom house
  - Management of all laundry and ironing
  - Occasional assistance with social events, such as dinner parties
  - Occasional childcare or babysitting by mutual agreement
  - House-sitting for occasional weekends and while the family is on holiday (2–3 weeks per year)
  - Caring for animals (a small dog, a cat, and chickens) while the family is away
  - Candidates who are open to some cooking when the family entertains and/or light gardening (maintaining a vegetable garden and weeding) are also highly welcome

Requirements:
  - A full driving licence is important due to the rural location (a car can be made available if necessary)
  - Available to start on 12 September 2026 or sooner
