Job Overview

We are seeking a caring and responsible After School Nanny to provide attentive childcare for three children aged 7, 12 & 15 years old. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, organised, and enthusiastic about supporting children's development and wellbeing. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a warm, family-oriented environment, assisting with daily routines and fostering a safe and engaging atmosphere for children. Flexibility and a genuine passion for childcare are essential.

Duties

  • Supervising children after school, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times

  • Assisting with homework and educational activities, including teaching basic skills in English

  • Preparing healthy snacks and light meals for children

  • Preparing their uniforms and sports kit etc.

  • Organising age-appropriate play, activities, and outings to promote development and socialisation

  • Managing daily routines such as bath time, dressing, and bedtime preparations

  • Driving children to extracurricular activities or appointments as required

  • Communicating effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns

  • Maintaining a clean and organised environment in the child's play area and shared spaces

  • Assisting the housekeeper with light household chores if needed

Skills

  • Experience in childcare or nannying is highly desirable

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively

  • Proficiency in English

  • Valid driving licence with a clean driving record for transporting children safely

  • Compassionate, patient, and attentive to children's individual needs

  • Ability to create engaging activities that support learning and development

  • Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with parents and children

Schedule: Monday to Friday 2/ 3PM until 7PM.

Pay: £20- £24 per hour
