Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Live-in Nanny/Housekeeper to provide comprehensive care and household management within a family home. The ideal candidate will be responsible for caring for children, maintaining household organisation, and supporting daily routines. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a family in a warm, supportive environment, ensuring the well-being of children while managing household responsibilities efficiently. Fluency in English is essential to facilitate communication and language development for the children. The position includes a one-bedroom accommodation with own kitchenette.
Children’s ages: 2, 5 and 7 years old
Schedule: Monday to Friday, including Saturday mornings
Responsibilities:
Providing attentive childcare, including supervising play, assisting with homework, and organising educational activities
Preparing nutritious meals and snacks for children
Assisting with daily routines such as dressing, bathing, and bedtime
Organising household chores including cleaning, ironing, laundry, and tidying to maintain a welcoming environment
Managing shopping lists and running errands as needed
Taking children to school, activities, or appointments in a safe and timely manner
Supporting language development
Ensuring the safety and security of children at all times
Assisting with organising family events or outings when required
Experience:
Proven experience in nannying or childcare roles, preferably with young children
Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities
Experience in household management or housekeeping duties is advantageous
Fluency in English is required
Strong organisational skills with an ability to multitask effectively whilst maintaining a warm and nurturing attitude
