11+ Tutor - Live-in Rota, FRANCE

We are currently seeking an 11 + Tutor to work in France on a rotational basis (2 weeks on/ 2 weeks off).

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 11+ Tutor to support a 10-year-old girl in preparing for her entrance examinations. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a strong understanding of the 11+ curriculum, with experience working with children. This role offers an opportunity to meaningfully impact a child's academic journey, fostering confidence and success in their examinations.

Duties:
- Deliver engaging and tailored tutoring sessions focused on the 11+ syllabus, including verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, mathematics, and English.
- Assess the child's individual needs and develop personalised learning plans to enhance their strengths and address areas for improvement.
- Monitor the child's progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to the child and their parents or guardians.
- Prepare the child effectively for examination formats through practice tests and exam techniques.
- Create a positive learning environment that encourages confidence, motivation, and active participation.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and lesson plans in accordance with organisational policies.

Skills:
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, within the 11+ or primary education sectors.
- Strong understanding of the 11+ curriculum and examination requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging children and explaining concepts clearly.
- Experience working with children.
- Organised with the ability to plan lessons effectively and adapt to individual needs.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for supporting young learners’ academic development.

Accommodation: Separate staff apartment, 7 minutes from the main house

Pay: £4,000 per 2-week rota shift.
